Coordinate research funding applications from Kuwait University, KISR and other institutions, managing two annual cycles with 40–70 proposals each. Administer reviewer selection, evaluation processes and ensure timely funding decisions. Oversee a KWD 5 million annual budget, track expenditures, prepare monthly management reports and support annual budgeting and year‑end financial reconciliation. Manage grant payment releases, contract milestones, and honorarium processing for international reviewers, maintaining accurate records for audit and reporting. Handle official correspondence for a directorate of ~30 staff, drafting professional communications and coordinating across management, finance and external stakeholders.
