Commercial & Procurement Intern

About the role

Digital Sage, a data‑driven marketing agency based in Brunei, is seeking a Commercial & Procurement Intern to support its commercial team. You will help streamline supplier sourcing, manage procurement records, and assist with documentation, ensuring the company can purchase items efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and contact potential suppliers based on internal requests.
• Request and gather quotations, specifications, pricing, and lead times from multiple vendors.
• Organise and compare quotations to aid the commercial team’s decision‑making.
• Maintain and update a detailed procurement spreadsheet/database after each sourcing exercise.
• Record supplier details, pricing, lead times, payment and delivery terms, and performance notes.
• Complete standard procurement, vendor registration, quotation and purchase forms accurately.
• Ensure proper digital filing of all supplier documents and correspondence.
• Communicate professionally with suppliers via email, WhatsApp or phone to obtain missing information and follow up on quotation status.

Required profile

• Highly organised and detail‑oriented.
• Comfortable handling large amounts of data in spreadsheets.
• Strong written communication skills for interacting with multiple suppliers.

Required skills

• Excel (or equivalent spreadsheet software)
