Junior Field Service Engineer – Control/Electrical

About the role

Join the IET Gas Service Technology team as a Junior Field Service Engineer focused on control and electrical systems. You will work directly on customer sites, supporting installation, maintenance and commissioning of rotating equipment while ensuring safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead on‑site installation, overhaul, troubleshooting and commissioning of rotating equipment.
• Provide technical direction to internal teams and skilled labor to maintain safety, quality and regulatory standards.
• Prepare and update technical documentation, plans, daily and weekly briefing reports for customers and internal teams.
• Manage digital tools for retrieving technical documents, packing lists, bills of material and drawings.
• Ensure internal training, compliance and quality documentation are current and followed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably electrical or electronics instrumentation.
• 1–3 years of experience in the oil and gas industry or with rotating equipment.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to guide customers through technical decisions.
• Excellent verbal and written English.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time, including offshore locations.
