Civil Manager – Project Delivery Lead

About the role

The Civil Manager will lead the Civil Division to ensure successful delivery of projects from concept design through to hand‑over and closure. This role balances safety, cost, scope, quality and schedule while meeting all technical and business requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate communication among multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Supervise project schedule, budget, and stakeholder communications.
• Lead the project team to ensure technical accuracy of deliverables.
• Develop and maintain contract management plans, risk‑opportunity matrices and performance scorecards.
• Manage client relationships, expectations and technical solution discussions.
• Oversee procurement, subcontractor selection, tendering processes and invoice management.
• Ensure staff competency development and allocate resources throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor technical risks and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in civil project management and delivery.
• Proven ability to manage contracts, risks and client interactions.
• Strong leadership skills to guide multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of industry codes, standards and technical trends.
