Marker Fitter

About the role

Tendrill is hiring a Marker Fitter in Seria on a contractual basis. The role covers the fabrication and erection of plant process pipework in the oil and gas industry, using the right equipment, tools and consumables.

Key responsibilities

• Fabricate and erect plant process pipework.
• Set up, measure, mark off, cut and align pipes and structural items.
• Ensure the correct work permits are available before starting tasks.
• Prepare and maintain work areas, including housekeeping and keeping them free of obstructions.
• Clean up by segregating repairable material from scrap.
• Maintain insulation equipment and tools in good condition.

Required profile

• Minimum highest secondary education or equivalent, plus ISQ in Marking and Fitting.
• Suitable technical certificate or diploma.
• Valid certification with relevant competency and HSE training.
• Proven ability to provide pipe fitting services in the oil and gas industry.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar position or related field in oil and gas and construction.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
