Social Media Assistant Intern

About the role

We are seeking a Social Media Assistant Intern to support our Social Media Lead in managing real client accounts from day one. Working remotely, you will help plan, produce and publish content for multiple brands across Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced agency environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in creating monthly content calendars for client accounts and schedule posts using Meta Business Suite or similar tools.
• Write and edit on‑brand captions in English and Malay, coordinating with the design team for visual assets.
• Publish and monitor content on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Maintain organized files of assets, approvals and performance reports for each client.
• Collaborate with the Social Media Lead and Creative Team during check‑ins and content reviews.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma/degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Business or a related field.
• Interest in social media as a craft and willingness to work independently in a remote setting.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook and TikTok platforms.
• Basic knowledge of Canva or similar design tools.
• Experience with Meta Business Suite for scheduling.
• Exposure to Notion or other project‑management platforms.
• Understanding of scheduling tools such as Metricool.
