Product Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an ambitious Product Engineer to turn real customer problems into intuitive, reliable software. You will work closely with founders, designers, and property‑manager operators to identify what matters, build solutions, and iterate based on usage. The role spans the full product journey from idea to shipped feature, with a focus on AI, automation, and short‑term rentals.

Key responsibilities

• Understand customer workflows, identify friction points, and prioritize problems worth solving.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy end‑to‑end features across frontend, backend, and integrations.
• Collaborate with designers to create intuitive user interfaces for complex rental operations.
• Build event‑driven automation engines that eliminate repetitive tasks.
• Develop AI‑powered features using LLMs and AI agents for guest communication and pricing decisions.
• Implement reliable APIs and integrations with platforms such as Airbnb, Hostaway, Stripe, Twilio, OpenAI, and Google.
• Deliver solutions for real‑time reservation sync, dynamic pricing, smart‑lock access, and automated reporting.
• Measure product impact with customer feedback and usage data, iterating to improve adoption and efficiency.
• Make technical decisions that balance speed, maintainability, security, and scalability as the platform grows.

Required profile

• Strong experience building and shipping production software.
• Ability to work across both frontend and backend systems.
• Experience with React, TypeScript, Python, FastAPI or comparable technologies.
• Deep understanding of APIs, databases, integrations, and cloud architecture.
• Product‑mindset with curiosity about user needs and AI automation.
• Confidence interacting directly with customers, designers, and founders.
• Independent, outcome‑focused work style and bias toward shipping and learning.
