Senior Project Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer to lead the preparation of construction work packs for onshore procurement, fabrication and offshore construction activities, ensuring alignment with campaign schedules and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the preparation of construction work packs, job cards, drawings and material requisitions across engineering, operations and support services.
• Review design engineers’ output, develop work orders, and manage major/minor plant changes and repairs.
• Maintain work pack status in WMS systems, provide progress updates to the integrated planning engineer, and ensure compliance with BSP and company standards.
• Support the development of construction aids, lifting designs and multi‑discipline data, and monitor constraints to propose solutions.
• Ensure health and safety requirements are met, reviewing risk assessments and ISSOW PTWs for all scopes.

Required profile

• Recognised engineering degree or equivalent qualification and membership of an internationally recognised professional institution.
• Minimum 10 years of practical experience in oil and gas design, construction and implementation on major projects.
• At least 2 years of project or office management experience leading multi‑discipline teams on offshore/onshore projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, international standards, codes of practice and HSSE aspects.
• Ability to work under pressure, plan, coordinate and motivate staff in an EPC environment.

Required skills

• Experience with Shell DEPs.
• Proficiency in SAP CMMS.
• Use of Work Management Systems (WMS) for tracking work packs.
