Consultant - Capital Project Delivery

About the role

This position leads and manages Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (EIA/ESIA) studies for medium and large‑scale capital projects across the Asia‑Pacific region. You will provide technical expertise in environmental planning, risk assessment and compliance with national and international standards, helping clients deliver sustainable, resilient projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct environmental modelling such as coastal, air‑quality and noise modelling to support studies across APAC jurisdictions.
• Carry out data analytics using appropriate software to underpin impact assessments.
• Prepare Environmental Impact Assessments and Environmental Management and Monitoring Plans aligned with national and international standards.
• Develop Environmental and Social Management Plans (EMP/ESMP) for key environmental parameters.
• Perform environmental due diligence and assessments in line with Equator Principles, IFC, ADB, World Bank and JBIC standards.
• Develop corrective action plans to address compliance gaps.
• Collaborate with ERM global and regional teams to deliver multi‑office EIA/ESIA projects, including GIS work and impact prediction modelling.

Required profile

• B.Tech/M.Tech in Environmental Engineering or a Master’s in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Management or a related discipline.
• 5–9 years of experience in EIA/ESIA studies and modelling assessments.
• Consultancy experience working with multidisciplinary teams and using modelling tools.
• Strong background in environmental planning and impact assessment for private and government clients across APAC.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills; fluency in English is mandatory.
