Welder - Oil and Gas Pipework Fabrication

About the role

Tendrill is hiring a full-time welder in Seria, Brunei Darussalam, responsible for the fabrication and erection of plant process pipework. The role covers welding and fabrication work on ferrous and non-ferrous metals, with a preference for local and permanent residents of Brunei.

Key responsibilities

• Fabricate and erect plant process pipework.
• Carry out welding work using the appropriate equipment, tools and consumables.
• Perform fabrication work using tungsten arc, manual arc, gas and PVC welding and cutting techniques, and other applications to ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
• Monitor all welding work and ensure compliance with specifications.

Required profile

• Minimum ISQ or NTEC or SC3 or Diploma in Fabrication and Welding Engineering.
• Valid certification with relevant competency and HSE training.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar position or related field within the oil and gas and construction industries.
• Good command of English, spoken and written.

Required skills

• ASME Section IX and AWS D1.1 certification.
• ISO 13847 certification.
• API 1104 certification.
