Senior Software Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a highly ambitious Senior Software Engineer to build and scale Base360.ai, the AI operating system for short‑term rental businesses. You will design, develop and ship customer‑facing products, automation engines, AI‑powered workflows and integrations that directly impact property managers, their teams and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable applications, services and APIs that power reservations, pricing, payments and property operations.
• Build event‑driven automation workflows that eliminate repetitive tasks such as cleaning scheduling and guest communications.
• Design and implement AI‑powered systems using LLMs and AI agents for guest communication, maintenance triage and pricing support.
• Create robust API‑first integrations with platforms like Airbnb, Stripe, Twilio and OpenAI.
• Deploy and manage cloud‑native, server‑less infrastructure on AWS to ensure reliability and global performance.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery of projects, from problem definition through architecture, implementation and ongoing improvement.

Required profile

• Strong experience building and owning production‑grade software systems.
• Proficiency with FastAPI, Python, React or comparable frameworks.
• Deep understanding of APIs, distributed systems and cloud architecture.
• Ability to work independently, make sound technical decisions and balance speed with maintainability.
• Curiosity about AI, automation and operational efficiency.
