Project Manager – Resort Renovation (Pre‑Construction)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the pre‑construction phase of a large‑scale resort renovation programme in Brunei. The role involves overseeing design development, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and managing procurement and tender activities for multiple hospitality and leisure facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all pre‑construction activities for the resort renovation.
• Manage design development and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams.
• Develop and monitor the overall project programme and key milestones.
• Support procurement and tendering, including preparation of tender documentation and evaluation of bids.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure project objectives, quality standards and timelines are achieved.
• Prepare regular project reports and provide progress updates to stakeholders.
• Facilitate effective communication and decision‑making throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager on large‑scale building, hospitality, mixed‑use, commercial or renovation projects.
• Strong experience in design management, project planning and tender management.
• Good understanding of project delivery from concept design through procurement.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
• Professional proficiency in English.
