Associate, IT Support (Security & Corporate IT)

About the role

The Associate, IT Support will ensure smooth and reliable operation of EVYD’s IT systems, devices and infrastructure in Brunei. You will handle day‑to‑day technical support, secure access management and contribute to IT improvement projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Microsoft 365 administration, including user accounts, licences, mailboxes, Intune devices and Microsoft Purview labelling.
• Support onboarding and off‑boarding by configuring accounts, preparing equipment and managing system access.
• Set up, re‑image and reset laptops and desktops, and assist with data backup and recovery.
• Maintain office IT infrastructure such as Wi‑Fi, LAN, printers and meeting‑room systems.
• Keep accurate IT asset records and perform regular asset checks.
• Assist with IT budget planning, purchasing and expense tracking.
• Apply security patches, address vulnerabilities from scans and penetration tests, and track remediation to closure.
• Support data‑centre operations, including server installation, migration and routine maintenance.
• Respond to help‑desk tickets, troubleshoot issues and provide timely employee support.
• Participate in IT projects and other operational tasks as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field (preferred).
• Good communication skills in English and ability to explain technical issues to non‑technical users.
• Willingness to learn, take initiative and work independently while collaborating with the team.
• Integrity, accountability and professional ethics.
• Experience in healthcare or health‑technology is an advantage.
• Mandarin language skills are a plus.

Required skills

• Microsoft 365 administration (user accounts, licences, Intune, Purview).
• Basic Linux command knowledge.
• Understanding of networking concepts (LAN, Wi‑Fi, TCP/IP).
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude or Microsoft Copilot.
