Project Manager / Business Analyst (Brunei)

About the role

Bitlab, a digital consultancy delivering enterprise portals, websites, mobile apps, cloud platforms and AI-powered solutions, is hiring a Project Manager / Business Analyst based in Brunei. The role acts as the main point of contact for internal teams and clients, owns the project plan and manages scope, while also contributing to product vision and strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for internal teams and clients, and own the project plan covering schedule, communications, risks and deliverables.
• Drive decision-making on scope, manage scope prioritisation and delivery expectations with the client, and contribute to product visions and strategies through research, objectives and road mapping.
• Prioritise design and development activities so the team and client focus on the right problem at the right time.
• Lead requirements gathering, feature definition and documentation for research, design and engineering, and create product artefacts such as backlogs, user stories, sprint plans, briefs, requirements documentation and dependency diagrams.
• Collaborate with engineering leads to define technical implementation methods, assess backend requirements, generate technical estimates and mitigate delivery impediments.

Required profile

• 2-3 years of experience in a functional role; agency experience is a plus.
• Experience managing web and native mobile products.
• Experience working with cross-functional design and engineering teams.
• Appreciation for user-driven product design and data-driven product refinement.
• High-performing fresh graduates with a strong portfolio and willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.
