Laundry and Garment Care Technician

About the role

We are looking for a careful, hands‑on Laundry and Garment Care Technician to join our team in Brunei. The role involves receiving, sorting, inspecting, washing, drying, folding and packaging customer laundry while adhering to fabric‑care instructions, hygiene standards and quality guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and log incoming laundry items, ensuring correct sorting by type and fabric.
• Inspect garments for stains, damage or special care requirements and record findings.
• Operate commercial washing and drying equipment, applying appropriate detergents and cycles.
• Fold, package and label cleaned items for timely return to customers.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, following hygiene and safety procedures.
• Track load times, turnaround metrics and report any issues or equipment malfunctions.

Required profile

• Physically fit and able to handle repetitive lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Detail‑oriented with a strong sense of punctuality and reliability.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced team environment.
• Respectful handling of customer property and confidential items.

Required skills

• Operation of commercial laundry equipment.
• Knowledge of fabric‑care guidelines and stain‑removal techniques.
• Safe handling of detergents and cleaning chemicals.
