Surgery Product Specialist – Spine/Orthopaedic

About the role

Medicorp (Brunei) is seeking a hands‑on Surgery Product Specialist focused on spine and orthopaedic solutions. You will act as the technical bridge between our product portfolio and surgical teams, ensuring each case runs smoothly from scheduling to post‑operative review.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the subject‑matter expert for orthopaedic and spine products, staying current on product features and competitor offerings.
• Provide real‑time operating‑room support, guiding surgeons on instrument use, implant sizing, and troubleshooting.
• Prepare cases pre‑operatively by selecting appropriate implants, coordinating sterilisation, and confirming inventory.
• Conduct post‑operative debriefs to capture feedback and drive product improvements.
• Manage consignment and loaner inventory, ensuring sets are clean, complete, and delivered on schedule.
• Maintain relationships with surgical and procurement teams, verify patient payment or PO status, and follow up after cases.
• Analyse territory potential, contribute to sales planning, and monitor market trends.
• Provide on‑call support, including weekends and public holidays.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Nursing or a related field.
• Comfortable working in an operating‑theatre environment.
• Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail, especially under pressure.
• Clear communicator able to build trust quickly with surgeons and hospital staff.
