Assistant Well Site Leader CWI

About the role

The Assistant Well Site Leader CWI supports the Well Site Leader in delivering safe, compliant and efficient well operations. The role focuses on HSE protection, operational planning, and coordination of resources on the well site.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and organize safety and operations briefings, debriefings, and daily planning meetings with customers, contractors, and third‑party supervisors.
• Assist the Well Site Leader in executing the approved well operations program while adhering to company policies, standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and deliver on‑the‑job training to build competencies required for future Well Site Leaders.
• Maintain accurate forecasts, resource plans and inventory of critical items such as cement, barite, bits and rental equipment.
• Prepare material and equipment requests to avoid operational disruptions.
• Ensure operations mitigate risks of well control, stuck pipe and other project hazards.
• Draft detailed procedures and perform technical calculations for specific tasks (e.g., casing volume, cementing).
• Monitor compliance with Schlumberger policies, Integration PL standards and standing orders.
• Provide regular communication updates to stakeholders and ensure service providers have necessary information.
• Generate daily cost estimates based on goods consumed and services rendered.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and support incident response and recovery activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in well site operations or intervention campaigns.
• Strong understanding of HSE practices and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to lead safety meetings and coordinate multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Experience in preparing operational procedures and performing technical calculations.
• Effective communication skills for stakeholder management.
