Audio Visual Technician

About the role

The Audio Visual Technician supports meetings, conferences, events and hotel operations by setting up, operating and maintaining AV equipment to ensure a high‑quality guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate and dismantle microphones, speakers, mixers, projectors, LED screens, TVs, lighting and conferencing systems.
• Provide on‑site technical support during meetings, banquets, hybrid or virtual events (Zoom, Teams, video‑conferencing).
• Conduct pre‑event AV checks, remain on standby during events and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Perform regular inspection, testing and basic maintenance of AV equipment and report faults.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, inventory and proper storage.

Required profile

• Positive, flexible attitude with a "Yes I Can!" mindset.
• Attention to detail and creative problem‑solving skills.
• Strong verbal communication and ability to work as part of a team.
• Certificate or Diploma in Audio Visual Technology, Electronics, IT or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 1–2 years of AV support or event experience in a hotel environment (preferred).

Required skills

• Operating microphones, speakers, mixers, projectors, LED screens, TVs and lighting systems.
• Using conferencing platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
• Basic maintenance and troubleshooting of AV equipment.
