Commis Chef

About the role

Radisson Hotel Group is looking for a Commis Chef to join its team at Radisson Hotel Brunei. The Commis Chef brings creativity, a strong appetite for learning and a passion for gastronomy to the kitchen, supporting the smooth running of the kitchen department and the delivery of a high-quality guest dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Support the smooth running of the kitchen department, contributing to the quality of the guest dining experience across the hotel.
• Work as part of a team that maximises guest satisfaction, responding positively and promptly to enquiries and problems.
• Take responsibility for assigned duties and complete them in a timely and professional way.
• Deliver on departmental plans and objectives, helping achieve hotel initiatives and targets.
• Collaborate with the immediate supervisor to control costs and inventory and to attain productivity and performance levels.
• Build effective working relationships and promote the company culture and values.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable legislation, with due diligence, best practice and documentation for internal and external audits, including follow-up where required.

Required profile

• Prior kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Hands-on approach with a can-do work style.
• Commitment to exceptional guest service and a passion for the hospitality industry.
• Ability to find creative solutions and take ownership of assigned duties.
• Personal integrity and the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence.
