About the role

The Chief Engineer leads the property maintenance department at Radisson Hotel Brunei, ensuring the hotel delivers exceptional guest experiences through reliable and high‑quality facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the maintenance department, maintaining all areas to the highest standards.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programmes and environmental conservation initiatives.
• Lead, coach and develop the maintenance team to achieve performance targets.
• Prepare and manage the departmental budget, controlling costs and inventory.
• Build effective relationships with key stakeholders and ensure compliance with legislation and audit requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in property maintenance with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent leadership skills with a hands‑on, lead‑by‑example approach.
• Commitment to exceptional guest service and passion for the hospitality industry.
• Ability to devise creative solutions and provide sound recommendations.
