B1.3 Licensed Engineer – Brunei

About the role

Airbus Helicopters UK (AHUK) seeks a B1.3 Licensed Engineer to support a new Ministry of Defence contract in Brunei. The role involves ensuring maximum aircraft availability for a fleet operating a variety of tasks, with an initial on‑site period until 2028 and possible extension.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare aircraft for daily flight operations.
• Perform line maintenance and participate in base maintenance on site.
• Diagnose faults, rectify defects and carry out production duties as directed by the Chief Engineer.
• Provide flexible support, including on‑call periods, early starts and late finishes.

Required profile

• Experienced rotary‑wing aircraft engineer with a pragmatic, safety‑focused attitude.
• UK CAA B1.3 Licensed Engineer, type‑rated on H145/BK117 D‑2/3 helicopters.
• Good knowledge of Part‑145 regulations and CAP 562 Leaflet B40.
• Ability to work closely with the customer and build effective relationships.
• Eligibility for DBS and SC security clearance and compliance with ITAR/Export regulations.
