Trainee Engineer Sales - Civil & Project Coordinator

About the role

CYZ Solutions Sdn Bhd provides safety solutions through engineering products and specialist services for the oil and gas, petrochemical, refinery, marine, engineering and construction industries. It is hiring a Trainee Engineer Sales - Civil & Project Coordinator for an on-site position in Brunei. The role supports sales engineering for civil-related projects, coordinates project schedules, documentation and resources, and helps ensure timely delivery aligned with client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare quotations and assist with technical proposals
• Follow up with prospective and existing clients
• Provide basic technical support to customers and maintain customer records
• Participate in site visits and collaborate with internal teams on project and service needs
• Learn and apply product knowledge, support demonstrations and contribute to improving sales and project coordination processes

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline is preferred
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications with attention to detail
• Willingness to learn, adapt to a fast-paced industrial environment and take part in site visits and field activities
• Valid driving licence and ability to travel locally for client and site engagements is an advantage

Required skills

• Sales engineering and technical support skills for solution design, basic troubleshooting and product application
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Foundational sales skills for lead follow-up, proposal preparation and relationship building
• Proficiency in common office and project coordination tools such as MS Office, spreadsheets and scheduling software
